WP_Spoiler
WP_Spoiler is a free plug-in for WordPress that allows you to hide content from readers, allowing the reader to read the blog without accidentally finding out information that they were not ready to read. such as sports result, film endings.
Installation
- Download the required plug-in.
- Unzip file if required.
- Copy to your ‘wp-content/plugins‘ directory.
- Log in with an administration account.
- Select the ‘Plugins‘ tab.
- Scroll down to ‘WP_Spoiler’ and click ‘activate‘.
Usage
To use WP_Spoiler insert the following BBCode shortcode into your post encasing the text you wish to conceal.
[spoiler demo="true" ] Thu Apr 17, 2008 - Calgary: 3 - San Jose:4 [/spoiler]
Which will appear as follows
[spoiler]
Thu Apr 17, 2008 -
Calgary: 3 - San Jose:4
[/spoiler]
