WP_StumbleDigest is a free plug-in for WordPress that allows make a combined post of all your daily stumbles on StumbleUpon.
Installation
- Download the required plug-in.
- Unzip file if required.
- Copy to your ‘wp-content/plugins‘ directory.
- Log in with an administration account.
- Select the ‘Plugins‘ tab.
- Scroll down to ‘WP_StumbleDigest’ and click ‘activate‘.
Options
Log into WordPress with an Administrator login and select “Manage->StumbleDigest” on the dashboard menu.
- StumbleUpon ID
- Purpose: Sets he account number of the user you wish to retrieve. Required
- Time between Updates
- Purpose: Sets the minimum time to wait between automatically getting updates.
- Last Updated
- Purpose: Displays the time the Stumbles were last retrieved.
- Last stumble Date
- Purpose: Displays the date of the last stumble that was imported
- Get Updates
- Purpose: Check for new stumbles now, this will also reset the automatic update clock.
Frequently asked questions
- Where do I find my stumble upon ID
- The Only Place where the stumble upon ID seems to apear is at this end of the RSS feed. There may be proper place to get the ID but at present it remains unfound.
How It Works
WP_StumblerDigest uses your StumbleUpon RSS feed to create a daily digest of your stumbles. Updates are activated by site visits and can be scheduled buy using the options screen. Stumbles will be added to a daily post for each day that there are stumbles, new stumbles will be appended to each daily posts as they are added. The posts are set to automatically publish at 1 second to midnight of the day in question.
